Performing
Charlie regularly performs solo at some of the most luxurious hotels in London, including Claridges, Brown’s, the Beaumont, the Café Royal, the Corinthia, and more. He’s also performed with numerous bands at festivals, jazz clubs, weddings, parties, and corporate functions across the UK and internationally. He’s equally comfortable solo, leading his own trios and quartets, and with much larger ensembles, playing music across all genres.
Teaching
Charlie has taught dozens of students of all ages, abilities, and aspirations, both in person and online. From new learners who have never touched the instrument before to professional pianists looking to explore other areas of their musicality, Charlie tailors every lesson to the needs and ambitions of the individual. His lessons are fun, enjoyable, and extremely effective.
Composing and Arranging
Charlie is an avid composer and arranger, frequently writing tunes for his bands to perform. He also arranges and transcribes music for his students, and extends this service to anybody who needs sheet music for a tune and wants the confidence that they’re receiving an extremely well-made, thoughtful, and personalised arrangement.
